About the event

This trail based run takes you over the fields of Lower Broadheath, with fantastic views towards the Malverns, Bredon Hill and the cathedral city of Worcester, making it a great entry event for those interested in exploring trail running. Profits from the event will be shared between Acorns Hospice and the Lower Broadheath Community Orchard Fund.
Both the 10k and 5k routes are circular, starting at the National Trust property, The Firs which is the birthplace of Edward Elgar. Both routes will take in the rolling fields and woods directly east of Lower Broadheath. This year we have managed to design a route that avoids crossing any roads. Post event you are welcome to enjoy a refreshment at the Cafe located at the finish, if you want to enjoy a cooked breakfast why not cider either the Bell or Dewdrop Inn both situated within the village.
